Try centering, opening, and raising walls on the potter's wheel. Lakshmi guides hand-on.

Shaping and trimming
Shape your pot's final form and learn trimming and foot-ring techniques.

Decoration
Apply traditional Telangana geometric patterns using local tools.

Kiln viewing
See Lakshmi's finished pieces fired in the traditional blackware kiln.

The pottery workshop was meditative and surprisingly hard! Lakshmi's patience with beginners is remarkable. We made two pots — one broke, one didn't — and that felt like a perfect metaphor. Would do it again.
