1. About Viharam

Viharam is an online marketplace that connects travellers with rural Indian hosts who offer authentic cultural experiences. Viharam acts as a platform intermediary and is not itself a travel agent, tour operator, or insurance provider.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or have verifiable parental consent) to create an account and make bookings. By using Viharam you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Viharam will never ask for your password. Notify us immediately at support@viharam.in if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Bookings and Payments

When you book an experience, you enter a direct contract with the host. Viharam facilitates payment collection and deducts a service fee (currently 10–15% depending on host tier) before disbursing the balance to the host within 7 business days of experience completion.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms vary by experience and are shown clearly on each listing before checkout. Please read the Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy carefully.

6. User Conduct

Users agree to: treat hosts, ambassadors, and other users with respect; not engage in fraudulent behaviour or leave fake reviews; not use the platform for illegal activities; and follow the Community Guidelines.

7. Intellectual Property

Content on Viharam — including text, photos, logos, and design — belongs to Viharam or its licensors. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Viharam provides the platform "as is" and does not guarantee any particular outcome from experiences. Our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific booking in question.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of Viharam after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
