Important: Please read this before booking any experience.

Nature of Experiences

Viharam experiences involve outdoor, cultural, and physical activities in rural India. These environments carry inherent risks including uneven terrain, animals, weather changes, water bodies, and physical exertion. By booking an experience, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

Your Responsibility

  • You are responsible for accurately assessing your own physical fitness and medical suitability for the chosen experience
  • Disclose any medical conditions to your host and ambassador that may affect participation
  • Follow all safety instructions from your host and ambassador
  • Wear appropriate clothing and footwear as specified in the listing
  • Supervise children in your group at all times

Medical Fitness

Some experiences have minimum fitness requirements. If you have heart conditions, respiratory conditions, mobility limitations, or are pregnant, consult a physician before booking physically demanding experiences.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers: medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal accident. Viharam does not provide insurance.

Emergency Procedures

In case of emergency: contact your ambassador immediately. Use the SOS feature in your booking detail page to reach Viharam's 24/7 safety line. For medical emergencies, call 112 (national emergency) or 102 (ambulance).

Limitation of Liability

Viharam, its employees, and its contractors shall not be liable for personal injury, death, property damage, or loss arising from participation in experiences, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

Child Safety

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Experiences marked "Family-friendly" have been reviewed for suitability but parents retain full responsibility for their children's safety.
